Recently, we’ve seen an increase in the number of health and animal-conscious restaurants and cafes opening in Jersey City, along with a new vegan and vegetarian offering in existing restaurants. The Boycemode Power Plant will open at Base Health Club, a luxury health club and spa, located at 60 Christopher Columbus Drive in downtown Jersey City. Boycemod is a local herbal meal prep delivery service. Hoboken Girl spoke with owner Sam Boyce to get more information on this new cafe. About the owner
You might know Sam from taking a Base Beast class or a Base Fit class at Base Health Club, or teaching Bootcamp at Solaris Lofts, or you may have heard of him from Boycemode, his company. of herbal meal preparation. Sam was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure and knew he needed to make a complete lifestyle change.

As part of his wellness journey, Sam decided to embrace an herbal lifestyle and start working out. Sam said Hoboken girl, âGoing Vegan has been an important part of my wellness journey and has helped save my life. I became passionate about plant-based nutrition when I realized that the rewards were not only long lasting, but also made me healthy.
To change his lifestyle, Sam started with how he fed his body, starting from a foundation of compassion and integrity in his food choices. As a result of his lifestyle change, Sam’s mood improved, he had sustained energy and better health. Sam knew this lifestyle change was too big to keep to himself, so he started to share his new lifestyle with family and friends.
Boycemode was born in 2012 as a result of this. Boycemode is a vegan meal prep delivery service that offers weekly plant-based meals, whole body cell cleanses, and protein meal replacement smoothies. In 2020, Sam quit his full-time corporate job to pursue his meal prep business and continue teaching fitness classes and his pursuit of health and wellness.
The Base Health Club has also played an important role in transforming Sam’s well-being, dating back to the days of Club H, where he trains, teaches and trains personally. This trip led to Sam opening Boycemode’s Power Plant Cafe at the base.
The Boycemode powerhouse will be open seven days a week. The cafe will provide base members and the public community with nutritional smoothies, fresh juices, plant-based baked goods, coffee and Boycemode meals. one of a kind.

The cafe will also partner with The Grind Shop, another Jersey City business, to bring the downtown community gourmet La Colombe coffee, espressos and lattes.
The space will be bright, open and friendly, and the cafe hopes to provide the community with plant-based food and a healthy lifestyle, as the motto promotes âClean Energy for Healthy Livingâ. The Power Plant by Boyemode will sneak open Saturday, September 25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
