As we age, our bodies change. That two beers at dinner in your twenties become a hangover in your thirties and forties. Our cells, and therefore our body, start to lose energy. We feel more tired. We feel more cranky. We feel a little slower. It’s all natural. It’s our body that does its thing. However, there are things we can do to help us age smarter, feel healthier, and maybe even live longer. Fatty15 is one of those things. As essential as a good diet, a good night’s sleep and a good workout.

fat15 is the world’s first C15: 0 (aka FA15TM) supplement. It is award winning, science backed, and developed by scientists and physicians formerly of the CDC, WHO and Navy. It’s the first essential fatty acid to be found in 90 years (the other being a type of omega-3 and omega-6) and its benefits, whether it’s helping you sleep more soundly. and snacking less, reversing aging at the cellular level, are for now and later.

A discovery for 15 years

Fatty15 co-founders Stephanie and Eric Venn-Watson have over 40 patents, 70 peer-reviewed scientific publications and over 20 years of military medicine to their credit. Even with these credentials, they were surprised by their initial discovery over 15 years ago, which came from a much anticipated population.

Each hero has an origin story, and Fatty15’s story began by helping the dolphins. As Stephanie, a public health scientist and veterinary epidemiologist, studied how to improve the health and well-being of older Navy dolphins, she discovered that different dolphins aged at different rates. While some older dolphins have developed conditions associated with aging, such as high cholesterol and inflammation, others do not.

Stephanie found that the dolphins with the highest C15: 0 in their diet were the oldest. When the less healthy dolphins switched to a higher C15: 0 diet, their cells stabilized and their chronic illnesses subsided.

In humans, these conditions associated with aging have an impact on our quality of life and our lifespan. When Stephanie saw how C15: 0 benefited Navy dolphins, she and her team spent the next 3 years and 8 studies to make a discovery unique to the century.

A new essential fatty acid in the spotlight

Stéphanie’s team were not the first to find C15: 0. While this small molecule was first discovered in 1945, it wasn’t until the Fat15 team began studying it that C15: 0 became known as an “essential fatty acid”.

What exactly is a fatty acid? These natural molecules are important building blocks for every part of our body. They have a lot of important jobs that protect our overall health and well-being, especially as we age. This includes acting as our source of energy, influencing the healthy functioning of cells and organs, and helping our cells respond to signals from our body. They are also an important part of our cell membranes.

For a fatty acid to be considered “essential”, certain levels must be maintained in our body in order to maintain our basic health. Because our body does not make enough essential fatty acids on its own, we have to get them from our diet or from supplements. If our bodily levels of essential fatty acids are too low, we can develop chronic diseases that impact our daily life. It’s a mouthful, but basically, as published in Nature’s Scientific Reports, C15: 0 qualified with flying colors.

So how does C15: 0 work? After eating food containing this essential fatty acid, it enters our cells. Once there, it is able to strengthen and stabilize our cell membranes, acting as an armor for our cells and protecting them against premature cell degradation. C15: 0 also helps our cells to maintain their energy, recharge their batteries (also called mitochondria) and repair their function in just a few weeks. In addition, by naturally binding to receptors (called PPARs) found throughout our body and brain, this essential fatty acid has other major functions, such as balancing metabolism, immunity, mood, appetite and the sleep.

In reality, dozens of peer-reviewed studies have shown that people with higher C15: 0 levels have healthier metabolic, heart and liver health, and some studies have even shown that people with higher C15: 0 levels live longer. The benefits are many, but just remember that C15: 0 can help you age smarter and feel healthier. This newly discovered essential fat may even help you live longer.

Not all saturated fat is created equal

C15: 0 is more than just an essential fatty acid. It is also a type of saturated fat. While these fats get a bad rap, the truth is, not all saturated fat is created equal. When we eat, our body breaks the food down into molecules. These saturated fat molecules are divided into two main groups: even-chain and odd-chain saturated fatty acids.

Since the late 1970s, we have been told to avoid all saturated fat to reduce our risk of heart complications. While many studies have shown that even-chain saturated fats (like C16: 0) are indeed associated with poorer health, odd-chain saturated fats (like C15: 0) have been consistently linked to better health. metabolic, cardiac and hepatic.

Since both types of saturated fatty acids are found in the same foods, especially dairy fat, when we switched from whole milks to low fat milks, we decreased our intake of “bad”. and “good” saturated fats. It is now believed that avoiding foods containing C15: 0 may have led to nutritional deficiencies that are behind the global increase in chronic disease. This is how we got here, to a global re-education on saturated fat.

Now that it’s over, let’s talk about award-winning bold15

With that science to back us up, we are now at C15: 0 and bold15.

In 2021 alone, 20 peer-reviewed scientific publications Global and independent research teams have linked C15: 0 to health benefits including improved metabolic, heart and liver health.

fat15 is the first and only supplement of its kind. It’s 99% pure C15: 0, containing just the right saturated fats, in powder form (FA15TM). It is vegan and has no fillers, no gluten, and no artificial flavors. Two in three fat clients15 report benefits like deeper sleep, calmer mood, and less snacking within six weeks.

“I feel more motivation and mental energy to complete tasks,” said Melanie, an oily client15. “I have started to lose weight … and I generally feel younger.” Meanwhile, Dorran, another grass15 customer commented: “Fatty15 takes away the benefit of aging… I feel I can trust my body more to be more resistant to stress or disease.”

Nutritional Outlook Magazine even awarded the gras15 team with the “Best in Industry Award 2021”For their discovery and for being the first to bring the C15: 0 to the market, and W Magazine rated gras15 as one of the“Best vitamin supplements of 2021”.

The grass15 community grows as the world awakens at C15: 0. In fact, more than 98% of clients have integrated fat15 into their daily routine and 85% of new clients return to fat15 to ask for more.

In the future you will thank yourself

Harvard Medical and Scientific Institutions at Johns Hopkins Universities have published links between C15: 0 and better health. With its potential to improve our overall health, promote our metabolic, heart and liver health, and extend our life, some in the nutrition community are wondering if C15: 0 could be the next omega-3. But gras15 is already one step ahead. After all, they’ve spent over 15 years harnessing the science of pure C15: 0 and putting it into a tiny capsule for you. A small capsule, with big promise for your long term health.
